Graduate students at Boise State University in the Department of Community and Regional Planning have created this blog as a way to develop modern community skills and critical thinking abilities that are vital to the planning profession in all sectors. This emphasis on communication is one of the Department’s core learning objectives and is in support of the Department’s broader mission. The views expressed by the students are their own and will highlight interesting innovations, dilemmas, debates and concepts in contemporary planning in the Treasure Valley, the Intermountain West and beyond. If you have any questions or comments about the blog, please contact Dr. Amanda Johnson Ashley at amandaashley@boisestate.edu or 208.426.2605.
